About me
Hi, my name is Laurens Moonens and I'm a Belgian Game Developer with 6 years of experience. I graduated at Howest (Belgium), as part of the
Digital
Arts and Entertainment program (DAE). In my most recent role as Senior Game Developer at Triangle Factory, I worked on thrilling multiplayer VR shooters Breachers and Forefront where I developed and maintained in-house tools such as an automatic performance test system, integrated into the CI/CD pipeline, as well as several gameplay systems and gamemodes from the ground up.
In my free time I love to play music, go for hikes, and work on personal programming projects to widen my knowledge. Lately I've been learning more about compute shaders and raymarching, as well as getting to know the Unreal Engine C++ workflow.
I'm a passionate programmer, continuously trying to find and expand the limits of my knowledge and
abilities. As a
thinker at heart, I solve problems for breakfast and embrace complex challenges as an opportunity to
learn and grow. By
combining my love for programming with enthusiasm and a dash of humor, I strive to create a positive and
productive work
environment that brings out the best in both myself and the team.
